Products include dimensional, masonry, fireplaces, flooring, cropped/split face walling, stone dust and hard landscaping. Our Bath Stone (Elm Park) is seen as a match for Monks Park which is explained by the fact it is the same deposit and is only separated by a boundry line separating the mineral holding. It is also acknowledged as the most durable Bath stone with the closest texture enabling excellent details for carving. Chilmark is world renowned and regarded as Christopher Wrens favoured stone. Today Chilmark is used as a replacement for Kent Rag, Reigate, Quarrella and Malmstone. Hurdcott (Shaftesbury) Greensand is well known in the local area but is now also seen as a replacement for Ventnor stone on the Isle of Weight, Curry Stone in the West Country. Our head office and cutting yard is located to the west of Salisbury on the edge of Chilmark village. We provide a range of building products from dimensional cut stone through to bespoke masonry work. We also manufacture cropped walling stone in all three stones and in a variety of finishes. We also cut and market other stones including, Portland and Marnhull.
